Use Word Cloud for one word or a short phrase when you want to see the most common responses quickly.
PollSpark groups simple formatting differences, but it does not split a phrase into separate words.
What participants can enter
Participants can submit one word or short phrase of up to 25 characters. Blank answers are not accepted.
How PollSpark groups responses
Capital letters, extra spaces and simple punctuation at the start or end do not create separate entries. Helpful, HELPFUL! and “Helpful” are grouped together.
Meaningful phrases stay separate. “Not useful” and “very useful” remain different responses.
What PollSpark does not do
Word Cloud does not merge responses with similar meanings or analyse them with AI.
Display limits
The presenter view shows up to 28 phrases. Dashboard Results and Shared Results show up to 40.
PDF and CSV
PDF shows up to 40 phrases, with more frequent phrases shown larger.
CSV contains all original responses, before PollSpark groups differences in capitals, spacing or punctuation.
Using this question

- Anonymous mode applies to the whole session.
- After the first accepted response, settings that could change the meaning of the results are locked.
