Confidence Meter

Use Confidence Meter when you want everyone to score confidence on the same five-point scale.

Always 1 to 5

Confidence Meter uses a fixed 1 to 5 scale with editable labels at each end.

Set it up

The scale is always 1 to 5. You can edit the labels at each end.

What participants can do

Participants choose a score from 1 to 5. In Survey, no score is selected to begin with. They must choose one before moving on.

How results work

PollSpark shows the average to one decimal place and the spread of responses across 1 to 5.

PDF and CSV

PDF shows the average confidence score and a chart showing how responses are spread across 1 to 5.

CSV contains each participant’s confidence score.

Using this question

  • Works in Live and Survey, depending on your plan.
  • In Live, each browser can answer this question once.
  • Anonymous mode applies to the whole session.
  • After the first accepted response, settings that could change the meaning of the results are locked.
