When does a session count?

On Individual and Teams Starter, a live session counts when the third unique participant joins after you start it. The Free tier uses participant slots instead.
Nobody needs to answer a question for the session to count.
What does not count
- People waiting before you start the session.
- A session where only one or two people join.
- A refresh or reconnect from the same browser.
Can one session count more than once?
Once a live session has counted, further participants do not make it count again. Ending that activity and starting it again creates a new live session, which can count again. A poll is the questions you prepare; a session is the activity participants join.

Which plans this applies to
Individual includes 10 counted sessions each month. Teams Starter includes a shared allowance of 20 across the team. Teams Pro has no monthly session limit. The Free tier uses participant slots instead.
