How Free participant slots work

Free includes Live and Survey, sharing 50 participant slots in each allowance period.
Live and Survey share the same 50 participant slots in each allowance period. Check your dashboard for the reset date.
What uses a slot
A participant uses a slot when they join a started Live session or open an active Survey. Waiting for a Live session to start does not use a slot. Refreshing or reconnecting from the same browser during the same Live session or Survey does not use another slot. Joining another session or a reopened Survey can use a new slot.
What happens after the included slots?
The live session that reaches the 50-slot allowance can continue admitting participants up to a total of 60 in that session. This helps you finish an activity already under way. It is not an extra allowance for starting other sessions, and it does not apply to Survey.
When the allowance resets
Your dashboard shows how many shared slots remain and when the allowance resets. The Free tier uses participant slots, not the counted-session limits used by Individual and Teams Starter.
