Live polling lets a presenter ask questions and collect responses from a group during a shared session.

Participants respond on their own device while the presenter uses the combined result in the conversation.
When is it useful?
Live polling can check understanding, gather views, invite questions, compare confidence or identify common themes.
What makes it useful?
The question, timing and follow-up matter as much as the tool. Tell the group why you are asking and how you will use the result.
