Network Access Help
PollSpark is designed to work in ordinary browsers without a participant account or app install. If a workplace network blocks access, these checks usually help.
URLs to allow
Participants and presenters may need access to these PollSpark-owned addresses:
PollSpark also uses secure API calls from these pages to load session state and submit responses. If a network filter separates website access from API access, allow normal HTTPS requests to PollSpark routes on the same domains.
Joining a session
Participants go to pollspark.live/join, enter the join code shown by the presenter, then answer in their browser. They do not need to sign in.
Presenter access
Presenters sign in at pollspark.co.uk, create or open a session from the dashboard, and use the presenter view during the live session. Session editor and presenter pages sit under the PollSpark dashboard on pollspark.co.uk.
Browser requirements
- Use a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
- Allow JavaScript.
- Allow first-party cookies and local storage. These keep sign-in, join codes and participant tokens working.
- Allow normal HTTPS traffic to PollSpark-owned domains.
If access is blocked
- Try mobile data for participant devices.
- Ask IT to test both PollSpark URLs above from the affected network.
- Check whether browser extensions, DNS filtering or category filtering are blocking the page.
- If the presenter device is blocked but phones work, present from a hotspot as a short-term workaround.
If you still cannot access PollSpark, email hello@pollspark.co.uk with the network name, browser, device type, and the exact error shown.
